Police and Fire Services officials in Limassol are still trying to determine what caused a fire that destroyed an Auto Parts Store on Wednesday night.
Police say that the call came in at 9.24pm with fire engines responding to the store in Ipsonas. The blaze was eventually brought under control at 10.03pm.
Officials from the Electromechanical Services also arrived at the scene in a bid to determine what caused the fire – that resulted in extensive damage to the shop and the car part accessories inside.
According figures from the Cyprus Fire Services, fire fighters were called out 33 times between 6am on Wednesday until 6am on Thursday during which 20 were for fires, 12 for other services while one call turned out to be a hoax.
