An electric vehicle dealership in Limassol was the target of a bomb in the early hours of Thursday morning, Limassol CID have confirmed.
The explosion occurred at 3.35am with the culprit or culprits placing a highly-volatile, homemade explosive device at the entrance of the shop. The resulting explosion caused a fire which had been promptly extinguished by firefighters that arrived at the scene.

The blaze still managed to destroy two small electric cars that had been parked outside the shop as well as six electric motorbikes and some artwork that had been situated inside the car dealership store.
The attack on the car dealership is the second of its kind in the last two days in the city.
On Monday, an arson attack on a car dealership allotment destroyed five cars and caused €100,000 worth of damage.
Limassol CID are still investigating.
