Nicosia – Limassol highway reopens after truck fire (VIDEO)

One of the lanes along the Nicosia to Limassol highway reopened on Tuesday afternoon after both lanes were closed when a truck caught alight.

According to the police, the fire broke out at around noon after one of the truck’s tires burst.

By 4pm the fire had been put out for some time but the police were still advising travellers to leave the highway at the Skarinou exit to more easily reach their destination over alternative routes.
